The New Playstand

We had been looking at options for play stands that we easy to move around the house so when we’re in another room for any length of time, Bandit can come with us. We’re going to eventually get him an apple tree which is like a java tree. There’s a small company that makes them here in Ontario. But for getting around the house easily, we settled on the large parrot playstand and picked it up on amazon. Like his large cage, we just keep the skirts aside and it moves easily. A little more seed gets on the floor but we have a cordless hand vacuum that works great for cleanups.

He took some time to get used to it which was expected because greys are incredibly phobic about almost everything new. By the evening though, he was all in. He likes to be at the top which is just a wire to hang toys off of and doesn’t look very comfortable for him. If he continues to get up there, I’ll get some Vet Wrap to wrap it and give him more grip and comfort.

Bandit’s videos have been getting longer and it seemed best to start uploading them on YouTube where it’s faster to view them.
